Julie’s Update: February 2022 (原文）

The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) launched their 2022 annual theme in January. The theme this year is “Translating Pain Knowledge to Practice”. This relates to increasing the awareness of clinicians, scientists and the community of our growing pain knowledge and how it can benefit those living with pain.
To ensure we have a shared understanding of the definition of pain It would be helpful to read the definition of pain on the IASP website, in particular the six key notes and etymology which are now more inclusive of both elderly people and infants. https://www.iasp-pain.org/resources/terminology/#pain
Throughout the year the IASP website will have various articles and information related to the theme, so check the website once a month if you can for any updates that may be of interest to you. https://www.iasp-pain.org/advocacy/global-year/translating-pain-knowledge-to-practice/.
There were many interesting fact sheets for January including:
